Rita Barakat - Design Team Leader

Hi all! Or should I say "Howdy" since this year we relocated to the big giant state of Texas! I have been married to my wonderful hubby for 20 years. I am blessed to be a SAHM (stay at home mom) to five beautiful children ages 19 down to 5! Before I had children I painted life size murals for a living. I have always loved doing anything artsy or crafty so scrapbooking was a natural progression! Most of my pages revolve around the kids, but you never know what I might come up with! Ta Da Creative Studious has fun and wonderful lines and I am so excited to be a part of the Ta Da Creative Studios team! http://letsembellish.blogspot.com

Terri Davenport

Hi! My name is Terri Davenport. I live in Toledo with my husband and our four boys. I started cardmaking and scrapbooking when my first two were babies. They are teenagers now, so I've been hooked for quite a while. I also teach digital scrapbooking classes at a local community college. http://terridavenport.blogspot.com

Christy Davis

My name is Christy Davis, and I live in sunny Florida with my wonderful husband and three children. I got started in scrapbooking seven years ago after my wedding, when I wanted to create something special to preserve my wedding memories. The funny thing is that shortly after, I got pregnant with our first child, and much of my scrapbooking focus became my children... and as a result, not all of those wedding photos ever got scrapbooked! :) My other hobbies include reading and photography. I have admired the TaDa product lines for some time and enjoy having more opportunities to play with them! http://www.davisfamilymoments.blogspot.com

Julie Detlef

I have been scrapping for 14 years now. My favorite subject to scrapbook is my family. I have been married to my best friend, Don, for 13 years. We have an 8-year-old daughter named Sydnee and a 4-year-old daughter, Shay. We reside in the wonderful state of Ohio. Of course I scrap the “big” moments, but I mainly just scrap those special everyday moments. My family is the main reason I scrap, and they are the primary subjects of my layouts. I also have a Book of Me album, a garden album, and a recipe album that I like to work in. http://julieslife-lexea.blogspot.com

Stacey Hansen

I am Stacey Hansen. A craft-tographer. That is right, pick a cake and I will decorate it, pick a wall and I will paint it, pick an embellishment and I will glue it down. Pick a craft and I will give it a whirl and then take pictures of the process. That is how I became a scrapbooker. My life in pictures, telling a story and what a fun filled story it is to tell. I am a wife of one amazing man, a mom of six adorable kiddos, and a friend to many. I am an Adoptive parent, Foster Parent, Biological Parent, Boo Boo Healer, Band Aid Administrator, with an official title of "MOM". I started scrapbooking before I really even knew other people scrapbooked too. About 16 years ago I had fun shaped scissors, crazy colored markers, and my hobby began. That hobby became a passion and now I couldn't imagine doing it any other way. So many memories to be made, so many pictures to be taken, so many pages in the making. http://sassynsweetscrappin.blogspot.com

Margie Higuchi

I have scrapbooked since the late 1970s and have been "acid-free" for over 14 years. I teach scrapbooking from basic to advanced in various settings (local scrapbook stores, weekend retreats and at home). By using my Japanese language skills, I spread my passion to the local Japanese communities where I lived in the east coast and in Chicago. On occasion, I design products for an IL-based craft manufacturer's chipboard and acrylic lines. My work has been published in various publications, internet sites and television. So I have been fortunate to have done all this with the support of my family. Married to my patient husband, Hosho, for 19 years, we have two teenagers who put up with my crazy paper addiction. http://margieh.blogspot.com

Sandi Johnson

Hi! My name is Sandi Johnson. I have been married to my husband, Craig for 19 years who knows that my love for this hobby is not going to go away! We have 3 children. Gabrielle who is 16, Katarina, 14 and Jeremy, 10. We live in a rural town near Gettysburg, PA with our Golden Retriever, Bentley, and my two babies...Stamper, a Min Pin/Toy Fox Terrier and Gracie, a Jack Russell/Yorkie. By day, I am a third grade teacher and by night I become a taxi driver shuttling kids to and fro all their activities. I started scrapping seriously when my son was born and at that time I did it to preserve our family memories. Now I realize that it is time that I crave for ME. Creating is something that soothes my soul and is a major stress reliever for me. Besides scrapping, I enjoy playing games with my family, reading and watching chick flicks! If you would like to see where I share my Paper Hoarding experiences, you can visit me at my blog! http://www.sandileescraps.blogspot.com

Suzanna Lee

What can I say? I'm just a woman who is obsessed with her husband, her 2 kids, her camera (a Nikon!), living life to the fullest and preserving our memories as we go! I've been scrapping for... 11 years now. But the early years were mostly hoarding and collecting. I've actually been producing layouts for 8 years with my most productive being the last 3 years. I began scrapbooking after a 2 week long trip down the coast of Maine. I had (and always have had - photography was my first love) millions of pictures that needed a home. What better place than a scrapbook? I have been scrappin' ever since! There's no turning back! When I'm not clicking (pictures, that is), cutting and creating both mess and beauty, I'm a physical therapist. I love what I do, but I do it to fund my hobby and collection! Who needs purses and shoes when you can have paper and embellishments?! http://www.lifestrivialities.typepad.com

Marianne Luken

My name is Marianne Luken and I live in Phoenix, AZ. I am a mom of four beautiful children - Emma (10), Jack (7), Clare (6), and Joe (4). I am originally from New Jersey, went to college in Indiana, and started my career as a teacher in North Carolina. Ever since Emma arrived, I have had the privilege of staying home and raising my kids first-hand. However, I have not let go of my roots as a teacher. I work at a local preschool teaching kids to read and helping them get ready for Kindergarten. I also spend a lot of hours at my church working with third and fifth graders on service projects within the church and the community. On a day without the kids (which is rare), I love to read, go on hikes or walks, and craft. I am an active person who loves to play basketball and softball. My kids are my world and being creative is my passion. http://6crazies.blogspot.com

Peggy Packer

My name is Peggy Packer. I was born and raised in Maine and moved to Toledo after marring my wonderful husband, Ed, 31 years ago. We were blessed with one beautiful daughter, Amy, who is our pride and joy. I have always had a love for crafting and have scrapbooked for years. My love for scrapbooking really intensified as our daughter grew. I never wanted to miss a minute or a memory of her. I am also a photography nut so I have always taken a ton of pictures and always have a camera with me. I also enjoy card making but do not seem to have near as much time to do that as I would like. I love to create mini albums as well as layouts and themed albums. I really enjoy being able to help others create mini albums to hold their precious memories. I have worked in the medical field for over 30 years. I also enjoy giving back to the community and working on a few special projects at our church. Time spent with my family and friends are treasured times that are most important to me. http://www.peggysminimemories.blogspot.com

Jill Sarginson

Hi! My name is Jill Sarginson and I live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada with my husband of 15 years and our daughter, Abigail. I have been scrapbooking for about 4 years now and it's developed into a major passion! I love to record the moments of our everyday lives. I mostly create layouts (both single and double pages) however I also love to make cards and do the odd altered project. My style is hard to define - however I do have some elements that I tend to gravitate towards on almost all of my projects: distressing, stitching and inking. Oh, and I love using circles. I am a person on the go! When I'm not scrapbooking, you can find me at the gym, playing soccer or maybe training for my first half-marathon. I also enjoy spending time with my family, the cottage life and reading. http://jillelizabethsarginson.blogspot.com

Lisa Watson

My name is Lisa Watson and I've been scrapping for 9 years thanks to my wonderful husband who literally drove me to the first scrapbook store and got me started with this amazing hobby. It wasn't til the last 2 1/2 years that I have become completely OBSESSED with our fabulous hobby thanks to the world of online forums and blogs. I now scrap just about everyday and LOVE it! I have 3 kids which comprise the majority of my scrapping. My first love is creating layouts and capturing my families memories for years to come. However, I have also become a cardmaker and its fun to throw in some altered projects into the mix sometimes too. I am also on the DT over at My Sketch World, XOXO blog and a contributing writer for Michigan Scrapbooker Magazine. http://mypictures2pages.blogspot.com
